Totally non computer related, but this would be great.
Looks like they are actually getting people to start paying attention, whether you care for him or the political thing, this would be a serious step in the right direction. Glad to see people actually waking up. http://www.ronpaul.com/on-the-issues...serve-hr-1207/

I initially was not going to respond to this as it's not very work related, but I agree with what the article says, just I don't agree that it's on Ron Paul's website (not a fan). Either way I hope that wasn't too out of line.

Politics always polarize issues. Whether you are a fan of any politician, it's still great to see movement on something like this. It's actually all over the web. Yah internet. I am pleasantly surprised. I think it is really relevant to the situation going on now tho, one that may have a long way to go before it bottoms out. Many americans have a tendency to be uninvolved or complacent until it directly affects them. I think that is a shame. Nice to also see people coming up w/ new models that have nothing to do w/ politics, like sustainable projects w/ energy, environment, banking etc. The http://commongoodbank.com is another good idea.

This is now up to 190 co-sponsors. I hope more people get involved with this. Nothing to do w/ politics. Another bill going through senate, as well. This is an interesting development and not unexpected at all. http://www.reuters.com/article/polit...55460K20090605 . I would not be surprised to see the fed have a "fake" audit occur, to diffuse this or something similar.

Typically an audit is used to determine the degree of compliance/conformance to a set of standards, regulations, or a charter.
The entity being audited has a chance to respond to the audit findings with either a corrective action plan, or an explanation of why it cannot/should not comply. Audits are used to identify and correct systemic faults. In this case, I smell a desire to grab some drive-by sound bytes. I'm sure they'll find specific outrageous instances that will grab a lot of headlines and systemic problems will be ignored by the media. Congress in turn, will also ignore them and focus on media "issues".

Here maybe you will like this ref better. lol
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UlXUFlQIUBA numbers seriously going up. Just a good trend regardless of where it ends up. An old subject at the root of all our economic issues that has needed to be out in the light of day. YAH! 223 and still going. |

The number is at 224 and still growing. Now the senate s604 is getting some cosponsors. Keep in mind this bill has been going up for like 10 yrs now w/ little to no interest until recent events. This really is happening because people are pushing their reps about this issue. So people getting involved really can matter.

They are proposing pretty much total oversight to the fed now, which will be even scarier than the power they have now. Power to deal with ANY company that is perceived as a threat to the economy. I don't think anyone is surprised they are doing this coupled w/ the world banks. Essentially, they will have a much more global centralized and powerful banking system. The timing is really interesting. I urge anyone who feels inclined to look at this federal reserve transparency act and take some kind of positive action if it aligns w/ your views. The fact that this proposal of power coming up has received little press is also interesting considering the magnitude of this proposal. I mean they are giving amazing power to a massive private corp that legally doesn't have to answer to anyone, but makes decisions that effect your life at the most basic level. The very people who caused all this are now being given total oversight and "totalitarian" power. Just when you think it can't get any crazier....
Article for anybody wanting to know more about what has been going on and is being proposed. http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.p...t=va&aid=14057

They are using a total BS move here to keep Demint from bringing this to the floor. This is his Sunshine Bill, similar to Ron Paul's Bill. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4tRQHsXujpo
Aside from the ex-enron lobbyist hired gun, now they got this going on. I love how they are trying to pull the politics, independence card crap. People actually buy that. Since when do people not have a right to know whats going on? These central bank back bones control everything monetarily. Seems like something people should know. http://www.zerohedge.com/article/the...ds-veil-lifted

Ok seem to be talking to myself in a really long conversation...lol Oh well I don't care this is too important. They are totally stonewalling in the house and senate to let this come to vote. But 277 cosponsors in house now and 17 in senate. So many are signing petitions and writing their reps/senators. This could be huge historically. Please get involved. Along with Ron Paul, Demint, and Sanders, Grayson is very good. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=00ECLxK2YTs

Well, they keep trying all sorts of psychology. First it's independence they need to maintain. Now to forward their desire to give the Fed more authority. They are now painting them as "consumer protection". OMG. Wow. Hopefully nobody is gonna buy that one, but they keep throwing new ones out to see what might stick...lol. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090724/...ncial_overhaul
