NT28.hsphere.cc is currently down for repaiirs. Looks like a failure on the system drive. We will keep updates here in the forum. Our Windows Admin is working on this issue as his first priority. Best Regards, Aaron Vortech Support Team |

Windows image almost done, about 10 to 20 more min, the system will be back in the DC for us to restore from backup.
Harddrive in this system was not raid, new setup will be raid so we will be pulling from 4/26 backups. It will take a little time as we have to wait for the CP to recreat all the users, sites, ftp users, quota and such. But we have it going as fast as we can.

I can see it is up on OpManager, but data not restored yet. Any idea how much it will take.

We're wrapping up the finals right now with configuration. We're now in the restore process.
Edit: The actual backup restoration process *is* going to take a while. I'd give times, but they could get misleading. There's a LOT of data to move. Last edited by byron : 04-26-2005 at 10:03 PM. |

I've no doubt that there is quite a bit of data. I have been in your position, not quite on your scale but I know what it's like to have people pushing you to get things done.
That being said... It seems like you are have a great deal of trouble with hard drives in your servers this year. I'm not sure what types of hard drives you are using, but I would say you shouldn't buy any more of them  |

At the moment Data is still being restored to the drives. Sites are comming up though. We are working from both ends of the alphabet in.
