Brad, i am sure you are doing the best to solve this as soon as possible, but i would really appreciate to have more detailed information on how the process is going. So that i can keep my clients updated.

How To Request a Credit:
In order to receive a credit to your account, you must request a credit within seven (7) business days after you experienced downtime. All requests must contain your account number or reseller username, the dates and times of the downtime of your web site, the domain that experienced downtime, and the server said domain is hosted on. Vortech Inc. will make every effort possible to credit your account in a timely matter. Credit to your account shall be the exclusive resolution to any website downtime. All credits issued are at the sole discretion of Vortech Inc. You can review the entire SLA at http://matrixwebhosting.net/sla/

Just a few things.
1. Yes this is fully covered bt the sla here: matrixreseller.com/sla just follow what it says. 2. We would have been ahead and faster this time but the tar file we moved to was taking longer then it should. We found a core switch config issue fixed it speed the network over all up and got the file there 10x faster. 3. Once the file got there come to find out we could not untar if fully, it is a 21GB tar file but that did not seem to be issue more of some user files causing errors. 4. We had to start that part over and split the users up in to letters a* b* c* ect. 5. Good thing is becuse we fixed the core switch config the files are moving much faster now. We will leave the little temp page up for everyone until we are ready to restore everyone at once.

regarding the SLA, are we supposed to count the hours individually or you can publish the total downtime hours here so that all of us on nt28 don't have to check their stats separately when requesting for a credit?

it's over 8 hours so everyone would get a month that happens to have account(s) on that system. It is best to wait until the system is fully restored to put in the credit though.

"We will leave the little temp page up for everyone until we are ready to restore everyone at once."
So even if they are going by parts you'll only see the results in the end. Good thing i only had 1 domain in that server. :| |
