OK...so, I want to stay with Vortech because I believe they provide the most outstanding support.
I have a little bit of my H-Sphere knowledge still intact, possibly, however, this is an off beat question I think. I am thinking about moving my customers, but of course, I would prefer to do this a little bit at a time, heck I still had not finished migrating off my other reseller company and Vortech made their announcement. So, that leads me to my question... Can I have Name Servers for multiple domains? Say I want to register mydomain.biz while my CPANEL is served off of mydomain.com. So, now H-SPHERE sets up ns1.mydomain.biz and so forth. Would I be able to created the service domain mydomain.com and then the ns1.mydomain.com at a later time so the clients that I do not control DNS for, move without any issues? |

These are the simple answers. Yes, you can use another domain. The domain is for the reseller acct setup and nameservers. No. you cannot change it later. Theoretically, you could use the same domain name, but you wanted gradual migration. Not necessarily active at the same time. I am not sure about cpanels nameservers. It is probably easier to change cpanel nameservers. If you setup hsphere and cut cpanel lose you should be able to do it. You better check what tlds tho. It is on here somewhere. Not sure if .biz is ok.
