mssql.hsphere.cc needs a kick

getting errors on mssql "[DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).]SQL Server does not exist or access denied. " generally recylcing the service will fix this.

What is going on with this? All of my SQL site have now been down for more than an hour with this same error message. Can we please have an update?

I'm also getting errors on at least one of my sites that use Active Server Pages and databases

Mine are down, too. When did this downtime start? I need the info to request a refund

Well, I just got a response back from support and they have restarted MSSQL. I don't care about the credit, but I would like to know why it took almost two hours to restart the server? (My first client complaint came in 1.5 hours ago, so I am assuming it was down at least awhile before that.)

Maybe nobody else sent in a support ticket so nobody at Matrix noticed, but it seems like an awful long time for such a simple fix (restart). I hope this does not become a regular problem again like it was several months ago....

Actually I don't think it was just SQL server.
My sites use MS Access for the databse - it's probably something to do with IIS or the like

However they are up and running now so crisis averted
