@Mail and Quota issues

Does anyone else notice that the @Mail "Mailbox Quota" is completely wrong?

In HSphere, my email Quota for one account shows "0.36 MB of 10MB" used, but when I log into @Mail, it tells me I'm over Quota, and it shows "Used 13176 Kb of 5120 Kb"

Not only does it display the incorrect allotted amount, but it's way off on what is actually there. In fact, all of my email accounts (whether they have 10 or 50 Megabytes alloted) say they are allotted 5MB in @Mail.

Is it that @Mail is not sync'd up with HSphere yet?

but all of my accounts say 5MB, not 10.

and why is it not accurately showing what is actually there. I have 2 emails in one account that are maybe 50kb total, but @Mail says they're over 13MB. That's pretty far off.

In atmail the webmail system you can only have 10MB total webmail at one time.. There should be no need for more then that in a webmail download it to your mail client would be the best thing at that point.

I could up the space but I really can't think of any good reason to.. I mean if you have that much mail then you should clean something out.. I get over 5000 emails aday from all of our systems still less then 10MB.

5000 emails a day!
crickey dick!!!
20 mb sounds good as a selling point, i doubt most people would use it, but i reckon it makes us resellers sound good, and thats what its all about. 10 "sounds" stingy, although as you point out it's not.
I vote 20, no worries though if its a problem.

How about the people who don't even own a PC or are overseas for months at a time away from their PC but still like to have a "web-email" system to be able to send/receive emails ... yeah tell them to go use hotmail I guess

If you put spam filters on then it won't be so bad, I get about 5-10Mb a day on one email account in spam alone

But "unlimited" sounds oh so much better

I'm cool with 10 just a tad annoying having to change existing customers expectations really they dont ever like being "downgraded"

Can I ask why mine still say I have 5120 Kb as my max in all of my accounts, if it's supposed to be 10? Does everyone else show 10mb?

Also, you say it limits to 10mb for webmail only, right? Not for regular email use. Guess I'm confused if @Mail is now the mail server, or just a webmail client.

I agree about the filters, and have already posted a couple of times about this. @Mail really needs 'body' filtering capability for it to be effective. Just address and subject line filtering wont cut it for most spam.

So will we still have horde? I do need more than 10mb as some emails we get are 15-20mb in size.

Actually thats a good point .. is @mail completely replacing Qmail/Horde or just horde ?

If just replacing Horde then whats the relationship between Qmail mailbox size and the @mail mailbox size ?
