Dedicated servr suggestions?

Hi guys,

I am shopping arround for a Windows Server but there are too many options. ev1 looks good and so does layertech.com. Ofcourse if Vortech has some i will stay here but there are so many specs to compare i though i would just someone who has already done the research...

Any good choices? under $100/m with windows standard 2003

Not going to get anything super duper for under $100 unless it's for something quite specific and not just a general hosting server, EV1/ThePlanet I can recommend though I have quite a number of W2K3 servers with ThePlanet myself and the service has been good, virtually no network issues ever ever and I've been there about 5-6 years (I can recall one incident in that time only) support can be a bit hit and miss, but lets face it seems that's a global trend anyway.

Yes i know ev1 is quite popular but i didn't like their website :-)

For me it was a tie between layeredtech and softlayer, i went with softlayer for $160/m and had access to the server in 1hr. :-)

ThePlanet (who merged with EV1 a while back) have a pretty smooth provisioning system too, all automated, kinda nice good luck with the new box!

I strongly suggest TMS, but dont think to find anything under $120 for a server + w2k3. We have 3 servers with them for more than a year now, without any problem at all.

also forgot to mention; search for what you're looking for in WHT.

Hey I have a suggestion, we have dedicated servers at http://vortechhosting.com/dedicated/ Also you have Windows 2003 installed on the server for $25 extra a month bringing our most costly server to $105.
