My beef (no pun intended) with spam assassin is that there are some very obvious spam messages that can get past a SA setting of 4, this is somewhat problemattic whe you have customers who get email via moble device and they have to spend time/bandwith downloading spam onto a handset. I don't get how "Russian Virgins" in a subject line doesn't get flagged.

Wouldn't RDNS help out here? Bounce junk that does not come from a valid domain. That is what the big players do. You might bounce some real email from people with misconfigured email servers, but what the heck. -Gary
