CNAME > subdomain issue
Hello gurus,
A customer has one domain in the cp. We created subdomains and each have their folders. And they work fine. Now he has another domain through onlinenic, i want to setup a cname for www.domain2.com to point to the subdomains hosted here. What happens is that it shows NT22 in the browser when we use the external www.domain2 but the subdomain on its works. any ideas? Basically we are trying to map an external domain to a folder hosted at vortech. But why does it show nt22? i'm told him it can be done. thanks Johnny |

If its showing NT22 your probably not redirecting it correctly. It should only pull that up if your using the shared IP of the machine or something else isn't right with your aliases or DNS in H-SPhere. If your trying to get domain2.com to point to sub.domain.com than you should just be able to do a simple redirect or "permanent" redirect wherever domain2.com is hosted or setup tpo the subdomain here.
