NT38 is being hammered on pretty hard at the moment. We are working on finding the code that is causing the issue.

Hi
my site is on nt38, all domains on that server are down . i cannot connect thru ftp as well . how long usually it takes to recover? thanks gmsi |

Here here, I am having the same problems and am getting hassled by my clients now. Support told me that what I experienced was an admin rebooting the server which is not true as Nagios is reporting a number of critical errors !!

I believe you also sent a ticket in. NT38 appears to be check disking at the moment. The server was reset due to the connection to the control panel server not being able to to create accounts.
We will have to wait for the check disking to complete. |

When A server is being rebooted nagios shows almost all services on that server as critical errors. We did reboot the server. It just decided to checkdisk. |

How long do you reckon before this has completed then ? Sorry to hassle you but I am getting the big stick from my clients and I can only chase you to find out information to give them.

Yep, I still got ftp downtime reports. Been tough doing some explaining.Can we have some visibility on what is hapenning? It will certainly help in keeping clients informed.

This server is now enroute to the office.
We are not sure what the issue is, but it appears to be slowing the server down to the point that we are not able to log into it. More info when it gets here. |

Hello again,
It appears that watever the issue was (Not yet known) it has effected the raid array on that server. It has issues and is claiming to not be rebuildable. We are currently working on rebuilding it using a hotspare drive. |

But how long are we looking at ? At the end of the day I have customers whose service is down and I can give them no indication as to when it will be back up. I am your customer and therefore I need to know when my service will be restored as a matter of urgency!
Have I lost the data that was up there ? |

There is no data loss that we are aware of at this time.
When we have an estimated time we will update you. As of now we do not know, or have any real idea, when this will be done. We are working on this as fast as is possable. |

We do not try and not inform our clients. This comes down to we are troubleshooting the issue. When we know the problem we will tell you, the client. Until then we can give no time.
We are very truthful here at Vortech. As soon as we know you all receive the information. We understand you have clients to inform as well. This post will be updated upon any new information. |

We are currently rebuilding the raid array on this server.
It is going to take a while. It is currently ar 3% and has been going for a while. We will continue to update you on the progress. |
