unix16

[Vantage]

Hello,
As far as we know there is no issue any longer with Unix16. This evening someones script (We are trying to track it down) Bound itself to a port and apache couldnt restart. This was not an issue with the server but with someones script.

From what I can tell the last time the server died was on the 5th, THAT was a server issue. We have resolved that one.

Thanks to everyone at Vortech for their efforts in this matter and keeping us informed.

The news sounds good to me so I will keep my fingers crossed in hopes that there will be no more issues and this thread will go away.

I heard someone say once that knowledge is power. Vortech's willingness to give us the facts allows us to make the informed decisions required to maintain good customer relationships in our businesses.

Not what I like to see, but still not bad really. The system if not already stable will get even more stable.

That is the answer I was looking for! Sounds like an isolated incident, and uptime has been better. Thank goodness, I wasn't looking forward to moving 3 MySql databases.

I believe there was. My site was inaccessible for at least 30 minutes yesterday afternoon.

I do show some down time on unix16:

22 Mins 51 Secs total for the day, at 12:03a we power rebooted that is what made 98% of the downtime.
