Unix 16 has gone down. A technician is heading to the datacenter to restart the box, as it will not restart from remote. We estimate - best case scenario- that the box will be back up in 20 minutes.

I really don't think I've ever seen unix16 this slow except when it's down. Anybody else experiencing this?

Seemed ok for a couple of sites I checked .. is your particular site(s) dynamic? or static HTML, perhaps it's one of the DB Servers thats slowing your site down if it's dynamic.

Unix16 slow access is explained in the above post. Apparently it is still under the scope back at Vortech office, where fat pipes are not present. That explains the slow access. They are monitoring the server and probably tweaking it.
