6/22/2003 AC Issue causing downtime on mySQL

One of the AC's went out in the datacenter this morning and we are waiting on the backup AC's to fully kick in. Unix4 and Mysql1 are very picky on heat. It's about 84 degrees in the datacenter right now and we are trying to get it cooled back down to 72 -75 degrees and get these 2 systems back up and running smooth.

They should be coming back online now.. We are still working on the AC issues to fully fix them for today. We will also be looking at some other options to keep this from ever happening again as well.

For a minute there I thought maybe the new job opening was for someone to go around blowing on all the CPU's to keep em cool I guess thats not the "other options" you were thinking of huh
