is this even possible?
I have a client that i just switched over from some local hosting company/isp-- the dns has been populated for days, but when my client goes to mail.hisurl.com he gets the old control panel for his old hosting company--also his outlook is unable to get the email...
i had him clear cookies, clear history, control refresh, reboot, you name it-- is it possible that his hosting company (who is also his isp) has not refreshed their dns servrers or something like that??? Let me know if you have any feedback-- i don't want to call the old hosting company and say something crazy and look like a horses you know what...

If they have not removed him from there DNS it could casue some issues as its ISP as well.

try using www.dnsreport.com to check out and see what the status of the domain and nameservers is
you can also use the DOS command NSLOOKUP from windows to find out more information about what entrys a particular DNS server stores about a domain |

I also had this happen, I had to call my customers ISP and talk the tech through deleteing the zone on their local server. They said their DNS guy left 3 months ago. Guess they didn't want to hire another one or something.
