How to have an email address that forwards to two addresses?
Hi,
One of my Customers would like to have a mailbox on his domain, where all messages are also forwarded to an external email account. eg. Email sent to sales@mydomain.com Mailbox owner of sales@mydomain.com receives email and so does mailboxname@hotmail.com Is that at all possible ? Thanks, David |

I have done this in hSphere using the email forward feature.
create new mail resource mail forward address "sales" forward to "fwd1" save then click the sales address properties in the "remote" block click edit add your second resource. (address)

also remember that (this can be confusing at first) you can have more than one resource for a single address.
Example: name@domain.com can be a mailbox, name@domain.com can be a forward, name@domain.com can be an alias, and name@domain.com can be a mailing list - all at the same time. In HSphere you would see multiple listings of the same account name, one for each resource you need to use. Luckily in HSphere 2.4 they address this by having all resources listed under one account name, bringing all of these features together. |
