New Servers Now Online: NS4 and NS5
There are new servers now online: ns4.hsphere.cc and ns5.hsphere.cc
Remember to login to your reseller account and do the following: 1. Login into the admin control panel. 2. Click Server Aliases under E.MANAGER 3. Click Submit under "Reseller's DNS server aliases" 4. If there are additional server aliases that need to be added, scroll to the bottom of the page click Submit. 5. Allow 4-12 hours for changes to take place. The new name servers will be turned on for signup on Monday, August 7th. At that point, all new signups will be assigned to the NS4 and NS5 name servers. |

Be sure to add the DNS servers to your registrar!

I'd love to add them to my registrar, but what are their IPs? I know I can look it up, but I've already closed the window...

networks
Not complaining here (great uptime so far), but generally at least one DNS server is geographically separate from the others, just in case. Thoughts?

You use whatever the control panel informs you to use sandyx, only 2 nameservers will ever be assigned to a domain (it will never be NSx.hsphere it will always be NSx.yourservicedomain)

Keep Using NS2 & NS3?
Are we to keep using NS2 & NS3 when registering new domains. A while back there was an email telling us to start using NS2 & NS3. Because NS & NS1 were full up. Should we look for a notice on the new nameservers?
THanks! Rick |

All other name servers, including NS2 and NS3, will be disabled on Monday leaving NS4 and NS5 as the only servers available for new domains. |

The key word being NEW domains, don't go changing any existing domains to use the new nameservers.
If in doubt, as I said always assign what is displayed in the control panel for the domain after you add it (preferably in the same order also as HSphere balances the primary secondary allocations between available nameservers, though it won't matter if you have them around the other way). |

Yeah, you should have all the aliases on your service domain at the registrar, but hsphere assigns the pairs to the domains.

I cannot add ns4 ns5 to my registrar entry (TUCOWS) as it tells me they are not in the registry. This means my new sign up domains are not able to use them either. Please advise.

You have to register NS4 and NS5 as custom name servers at your service domain's registrar.
