IP migration: unix11

Migration of sites on unix11 to new IP addresses is in progress. List of addresses will be posted later.

We'll email notice after the IP's are migrated... We don't want resellers that are too quick on the switch to update their DNS before the migration takes place

Yes... unix4 unix11 and unxi12 are done.

i really wonder about it i receive few announcement but i don't know what should i do

cambodia - if you have any clients/domains that are using dedicate IPs that are on the server that is undergoing IP Migration, make sure you and your clients are aware of the new IP Address for the site.

A few days after the migration, the old IPs will be removed from the server and if you or your clients are using that IP Address to connect to the site rather than the hostname, they won't be able to connect.

Only be concerned if you have accounts on the server being worked on.

You can tell clients on those servers that some maintenance is being done.
How much detail is up to you. Or don't say anything unless you see a problem depends on your clients and what you want to do. Some people don't want to know unless it is worth knowing...they get confused etc..
You then need to check to make sure the ips listed that are in use are being updated properly.

Most likely it will not create problems. Web sites are not even being addressed yet...just server stuff.

Announcements are supposedly happening after the server has been updated...not before.

oh i got it carly lucky my client all in share ip .. so it won't effect with shared ip client ?
oh great anyway i never try dedicate ip too .. if i ask again what is good point between share & dedicate ip ?
