New win2k server is now online NT30.hsphere.cc. Remember to login to your reseller account and do this below:





Adding logical servers and server aliases:



1. Login into the admin control panel.

2. Click E.MANAGER

3. Click DNS Manager

4. Click edit button to the right of DNS zone

5. Click edit button to the right of your instant alias address

6. If there are logical servers that need to be added, scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Add records to all listed logical servers”

7. Click Server Aliases under E.MANAGER

8. If there are server aliases that need to be added, scroll to the bottom of the page click Submit.

9. Allow 4-12 hours for changes to take place.

10. We are adding servers on a regular basis.


Doing this 1 or twice a month will help keep everything up to date.


This server will be turned on within the next 24 to 48 hours.

I've just got one website up on Vortech. I don't know that I have any logical servers or server aliases that need to be added. But your last line implies that I need to go do this anyway?

scott, you only really need to worry about 1, 2, 7, 8 - I don't think I've ever had the others apply to me. I go there, but there is nothing to apply.

Be sure to check this often, as some months they may add multiple servers.
