sounds like you simply need to clean up the header portion of the html email to include the required componenents-- required mime types and content types will save you over 3 points, which would put you well below the threashold.
i would recommend checking out the source for an html email that you get that slides under the spam assasin radar to see what they do with their headers.

Well matt just showed me his new tool for SA and blocking and stoping spam. It will be a user side spam tool to let you make up your own RULE's.. We have it in testing right now once we can get a good month or so in testing we maybe able to release it. We also want to see what they changed in qmail/vpop mail in 2.4 before we release it as well to make sure it will not have issues in the new versions of H-Sphere..

Did you say User control over spam filter rules? That will rock! That way the custmoer can fine tune their own email filter rules.

To fully test the spam tagging of your newsletter (if you're sending it) is to send it to an outside source, like a hotmail acct., to see what is really happening. But you should also do what you can to minimize SA's scoring of it. |

FYI outgoing mails are also tagged, spamassain i guess does'tn have and option to just check only incoming mails, its either both are none.
thanx for the help guys, but i found a easier option, i downloaded a free smtp programm and sent the newsletter's to my clients thru that, it was easier and faster ![]() |
