.NET 2.0 The Silence is Deafening

Please read other posts. We are working on upgrading right to H-Sphere 3.0 and it has .NET 2.0 but it's still at least a month or so away as they don't have it fully stable yet.

Brad; Dont you think the time is running out for upgrading to .net2? we had moved around 40 customers to another provider just because of this, or we should had wait to see their leave. demanding for .net2 is growing larger each day...

I do have concerns on .NET v2 hosting.

But, lets leave it to the Vortech Team and Iam sure they will come up with the upgrade soon.

This is the largest Hsphere Cluster and VT will be planning it in a big way to make this upgrade.

So lets wait..

Hmm... so we started waiting for HSPHERE 2.5, then we started waiting for HSPHERE 2.5.1, now we are waiting on HSPHERE 3.0.

After reading some of the other threads here tonight. I'm starting to worry enough to look around for alternatives. I understand the need to hold off on upgrades to save time, but at some point you need to ask yourself how important a segment of your business is. Apparently Windows hosting is not at the top of the list.

you'd think if vortech was the largest hsphere user in the world, they would have incredible sway over psoft to get this working.

anyway, .net3.0 was released, so i guess we'll need to wait 2 more years for support for that from vortech with the blame being put on psoft the whole time.

Hmmm, MasCon if we can't charge your card you ever think maybe it expired on us? Maybe it's not our fault at all? Maybe had you read the emails you got you would see why and here it is since your going to bring it up here "10/2006" is your exp date. Yea thats our fault. Give me a break.

As for what this post started about asp.net 2.0 it is coming in about a month I hope this is an ETA but we are close now. We may even be able to go right to 3.0 but I have not tested 3.0 at all yet to see if it runs the same as 2.0 or they total changed it like they did from 1.1 to 2.0.

Honestly, I would be happy with just 2.0 this century.
Meanwhile, as yet another .NET 2.0 thread wobbles at the edge of a vortex of off-topic chin wagging, back patting, butt kissing and bad jokes... some of us really are losing customers Brad. What exactly is it that's taking so long, compared with the other .NET 2.0/HSphere hosts out there? Maybe there are some sysadmins, MCSEs or kickass programmers out there who can help you deliver a solution faster...
