That looks like pretty good software. Any chance of getting our own user profile so we can setup notifications?

It is quite nice software, been using it myself to monitor boxes for a while now, definitely getting better every release they put out though I still don't like the graphs for some reason I just prefer RRDTool style graphs better.

That may be an option down the road or maybe offer it as a little service to our stuff, not sure if it would be a good idea to send 1000 emails about a network issue.

Why not have it goto a mail list that notifies everyone? I am sure you can customize the email alert or make a disclaimer. I realize you think some people will over dramatize the situation...probably will, but I don't think most will and you handle most of that just fine anyway. I would rather know than not. I can certainly filter an email or get off the list, but it gives us much needed info that will safe xtra work I think rather than create it. Having a heads up is much better than everybody trying to get info and not getting any. Also, you don't know til you try it.

What I meant is if we have a network issue or slowness and try to send 1000 mesages ever min it for lets say 20 min. thats 20,000 messages that it would need to send making things worse. Now we might be able to do this for complete network outages on the out side monitor but not for every server with in the network, because then you would get ane mail everytime IIS restarted or SMTP restarted. That might get out of hand.

ah yeah good point. Would we just be able to get a initial email saying things are down and one again once its back up? And would you be able to use some external mailing list site?
