Just asking: NT10 Up and Down?

I'm just wondering (not asking for refund or anything, dun worrie ) Is there any particular reason why NT10 goes down quite regularly for 15 mins every few days? Is it being rebooted or something. This is what I gathered so far.

Admin, just curious myself since my customers are asking me: What was causing the problems with nt10 yesterday, and what did you do to get it working again? Is the problem with nt10 fixed, or is there still some uncertainty? My customers want to know if it's worth the effort to move their sites to another server, and I don't know what to tell them.

Thanks,

Adam

Well the problem with NT10 last night was when we went to install Unix Services for Windows to do our backups easier it locked up part of the way in the install. This messed up a lot of things in windows and it took me a little bit get how to fix it.

There way no Control Panel, could not search for files, could not get in the winnt dir, nothing would install.. I thought i had tosted the server from installing some thing MS makes..

Now I really know only INSTALL one thing from MS if you must and thats windows.. Never use any thing else as there own programs don't even seem to work together..

Yeah, I know that kind of thing is really frustrating. Do you think it's going to be stable now, or would you recommend it safer to start moving my customers to a different server?

Thanks,

Adam
