Maybe everyone you know uses Outlook but I don't. I prefer Eudora and the issue does not affect it from what I have seen. Also, all those flaky viruses that email people affect Outlook but not Eudora. Another reason I have kept Eudora for the past 2 years.

As for being mad at me. I could honestly care less. I treat people exactly how they treat me. With me, you get what you give.

the problem hasn't been outlook password-specific. that's just how outlook handles a mail server timeout -- it keeps prompting you for your user id and password. when the probs were happening, eudora was timing out as well (i know -- i use outlook at home and eudora at work).

happily, it appears that things have been smoothed out.

I'm still seeing connection losses checking accounts on mail2 using Outlook IMAP. Just about every time I open Outlook atleast one of 4 IMAP connections to mail2 fails. I have not failed a connection to a mailbox on mail or mail1 yet.

Is anyone else experiencing mail2 IMAP problems? I hate to keep submitting tickets to support on the same issue. I know these guys work hard to provide a good service and are a bit busy with other issues to keep looking at my IMAP problems. It's just that my customers see the timeouts too and I can't do anyhting to fix them.
