Four hours passed since I posted and also opened a ticket.

No activitiy in the forum and no mails from Support.

Something seriously wrong somewhere??

I would be much grateful if someone could tell me what is actually going on?

Mail11 is working fine for me. I have been testing it since yesterday and got no issues.

yes, an hour or less ago it started to work from my home pc.
something is happening. I hope VT is working or my IPs are blocked for mail11.

I am having problems with mail11, and an email account (mecved@mecved.com.br) is with the message of “badmail” on Outlook Express. Some possibility of being related to this? Which the situation of the server mail11?

I put in a trouble ticket this morning, and the reply was that are issues on mail11 and they were working on it.

I was looking through the forums for any posting with more details, but yours was the only one I found.

BTW, how can you tell if your mail server is mail11 or mail8, etc?

To see where the email is hosted for a domain. Select the domain in CP and then "Edit" DNS information and look at MX records. This will show you mailx.yourservidedomain.com

You can also go into your administrative account, find the domain and click on the account id. Then click on the mail link.

Why is so difficult to solve the problem with Maill11 ?

I´m getting the same symptoms (less times then with mail11) with mail7, is this a mass attack, misconfiguration or low capacity of the server?

Yes it seems to be some issues with mail9. Nagios shows SMTP service DOWN. I have entered a ticket a few minutes ago.

I've submitted a trouble ticket on this already.

Is anyone else having this problem?

In using Outlook, emails are getting "stuck" in the outbox but are sending out multiple emails to the recipient. It's driving everyone nuts!

Yes, they are working on it. I have received the following response to my ticket:

"We are aware of the problem with SMTP and are working to resolve it."

This is not a new problem, it's one that keeps getting "patched" and never truly addressed and corrected. Welcome to mail9, is about all I can say.
I've been seeing trouble today with mail9 for 3 hours or more. Submitted trouble ticket. I have clients that are screaming at me every 15 minutes.
3 hours with no e-mail....time to actually correct the problem, not patch it.

mail9 update? 11/13/2006

Any update on the SMTP issue? It's going on 4 hours and email still cannot be sent. Clients are getting angry because I cannot get an answer.
