We're currently working on the hard disk failure encountered on NT20 earlier this morning. The machine is currently in the process of running a restoration of files. We will provide additional information when it becomes available.

I thought this wasn't going to affect me, but i just realised my service domain is on that server! :-( :-( Whole site is down.

No wonder i had no signups today ....

We are working on the Hsphere portion of the restore.

SOme people will have ftp access now.. some are still being created.

The restore is going well. The process has started and within an hour or 2 the sites will start to restore in alphabetical order.

Much better than just NT20, i was gonna ask about that earlier.. :-)

Yeah that was Brads idea and a good one. Another update, the restore is moving along nicely now. A through C is currently running.

A - I Have been restored. We had some problems with H so if your account name starts with H we ask that you upload your content if its available since we will have to complete the process before returning to H.

Isn't that asking for trouble? getting folks to upload current content, and then going back and quite possibly restoring over the top of that ? ... or reading between the lines are you really just saying its unlikely H will ever be able to be restored so you might as well just upload your own backups?

Am I correct also in saying this has now been 12+ hours and only about 1/3 (if that) of the restore is completed?

Still only seeing NT20 here .. and an account starting with "K" doesn't appear to be loading for me at the moment.
