All NT/CF/MSSQL-based hosting servers will be restarted at least once, if not twice, within the next two hours to complete necessary Windows Updates and the installation of a new backup agent into the operating systems on each box. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause end users.

Is this to address the user generated backups from the cp issue?

Well, not exactly. We're currently testing a new solution for our regular backups of all servers. We want to improve over what we're currently running for nightly and weekly backups of all server content. I'm not sure if that trickles down into what the CP is using for backups, but I'm not the one in command on that area.

No Peter, this looks like it's just for the admin backups. The problem with the CP had to do with the backup queue software. If a backup was already running or in the queue anything that came in next failed. The queue could only handle one back-up at a time.
