Spam Assassin scoring

Matt or Brad, or any other knowledgeable source...

Is there a list somewhere of how SA scores email? I have a couple of clients that have small mailing lists, and I'm trying to get there SA scores as low as possible. I've created HTML wrapped email templates for them, and while they're only scoring about 2.5, I want to try to get that down more.

Anyhow, I'd like to know what specific infractions are targeted and what their resulting score would be so that I can eliminate them. I'm searching the SA sites that I know about, but am not finding anything. Any help is greatly appreciated.

That page tells you just about every little thing it can score it on..

kind of like giving the blueprints to the enemy, right?

Funny, though, how spammers still don't get it. I continue to get spam with scores of 30 and more from time to time. A little homework would go a long way for them.

Oh, and I found it helped to add the GTUBE so that you can see exactly how your particular message is scoring - http://www.spamassassin.org/gtube/ - that's assuming you don't have SA set up to delete your spam.

yes, it's because of Matt that I even know about it. He used it to help me troubleshoot my user version of SA - too bad I didn't read the earlier posts to find that mail aliases don't get filtered.
