mail server down?
Hello to our tireless admins of Vortech.
Are the mail servers down...deep matrix reports yes..

mail/ns (the numberless ones) are down, yes
One of psoft's suspicious custom-hacked binaries went off the deep end during the wrap-up of the postponed OS upgrade and swapped the machine into oblivion with a loadavg of 65. Never seen anything like it. I'm in the datacentre completing the upgrade on console. ETR is approx 20 minutes from now (0933 LT)

No kidding, Brangwyn. I was fortunate to snatch enough bytes of RAM from that demented daemon's clutches to get a shell and not have to power reboot with a mish-mash of OS versions, which would have delayed recovery.
We're more or less operational. Thank you for your patience, ladies and gents.
