Creating HTML (graphics) email newsletters
I've received numerous graphical email newsletters and advertisements....it's an email that looks like a website.
How do I make one of these? I've been able to make a website and "send" that website as an email, but the problem is that it attaches all the graphics so the email is sometimes over 100K. The other newsletters I've received is only 15K in size, and I think the graphics are downloaded from somewhere else. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks. Mike |

when you create the page, you need to use the full url in the image path. ie http://www.website.com/image.jpg Depending on the number of emails you may be better off using some sort of mailing list, to handle unsubscribes and the image hosting. There are pleanty of scripts out there that will let you do this on your own, or simple signup with one of the larger ones.

Be aware that MS Outlook will block pictures from appearing in html emails unless the user specifically enables the feature - either on an individual email basis or for all emails. Becomes an issue if you email corps.
