How to find the server number
Hello,
how can I detect the server number for my sites? (HSphere control panel) If I do a tracert serate.it it ends up to nt11.hsphere.cc so I understand my site is on NT11. (as far as I can see, all the domains I created under my main subaccount are on NT11) But if I do a tracert mauriziobruni.it it ends up to 216.157.129.2 and it doesn't help me to understand the server number NT?? (please, note that mauriziobruni.it is the only site I have in a different subaccount) So my question is: is there a way, within the control panel, to know the server number for a specific domain? If not, how can I detect it? Thanks in advance for your precious support. Glauco

All domains for any ONE account are all created on the same server.
A quick way to check your server which works for windows domains on a shared IP is just to enter in a non-existent subdomain into your browser and you should end up with the server default page showing. ie lets say you wanted to check what server www.vbsdb.com/ is on, then just enter say http://xxx.vbsdb.com/ and you should see the server ID page. The server is also shown in the CP under FTP Manager. |

Thank you very much, you've given me a couple of precious pieces of information (both the "all domains for any one account" and the "how to").
Best regards, Glauco

Log on to your control panel, and look under FTP Manager for the domain in question and it should be shown there. |

Alot of times you can just open a Windows command prompt and type ftp domainname.com and it will show which server it's connecting to. The best thing to do is check under FTP Manger or FTP/User Account (depending on your cp skin) as Brangwyn suggested.

If you want a list of all the servers each of your customers domains are on your going to have to do each one manually ... at least until the API's working I'm pretty sure that had a nice function to grab that sort of info from the CP Database.
