I am not sure if Brad wants to me state the actual number but I can say there were not as many *good* customers as we thought. Unfortunately.

also out of curiosity, what's the main benefit of buying another hosting company ... they seems to be located exactly the same place?

They would appear to have been a vortech customer to me... might want to update their nameservers, they're pointing to the old DNS IP's still

The main benefit is to acquire their customers which equals additional revenue. Brandblast was one of our resellers, so that made the transition even easier.

We really try to stay out of our customers and to be honest this is the first co. we have EVER bought.. LoL The owner was sick or something not sure but he was unable to take care of his customers so we helped him and his customers out..
![]() Plus it made it easy on the customers because the really did not notice anything beside now being to get support since he was gone for almost 2 months there was some mad customers.. But they are all happy now.. ![]()

It's not an uncommon thing, I've had a couple of my customers "sell" their business too me becuase they couldn't continue .. everybody wins in the end really doing it that way.

The trick with selling a business whose assets are customers who may or may not stay with you or be income producing is evaluating that properly. That is always the hardiest asset to value.
