Blank emails?

I receive hundreds of emails like this from mail.hsphere.cc every day. Pleas stop this non-professional business.

I also received about 3 emails from anonymous@mail.hsphere.cc in last 2 weeks, but they were blank, didn't contain anything in subject or body. I thought I received it bcos of some internal testing being done by vortech.

Its not us sending the emails. Do they have anything in them? Why not post the headers? We don't even use mail.hsphere.cc as our mail server we also don't even use the hsphere.cc domain for any mail.

I also get blank emails, but maybe only one a day. Kind of like what you showed above. I showed it to matt but we could not come up with what it could be. If your are getting them as well there must be something incommon that we can find that might be wrong with qmail or something else.

ok it's OT .. but why can't I view attachements any longer .. I get a your not authorised vbulletin message all the time.

Several things I can think of

1) Youve got a "stuck" email on the server and your client is repeatedly trying to download it but craps out each time, this does happen occasionally and almost always results in a "blank email" being received or displayed by the client, may require a quick telnet session to the mailserver to clear it out.

2) You say its actually from mail.hsphere.cc .. this implies the mail isn't blank (just the content/body is) please post the headers to the email to see if there is anything amiss there.

3) It's a rather incompetent spammer who can't even use their bulk email software well enough to remember to put content into the spam message (this believe it or not is not all that uncommon).
