Angry Coldfusion charges

Since when did you guys start charging for Cold Fusion ?

I looked at my main control panel and I noticed there was $10 charge per account that had coldfusion module enabled, what is up with this????

Can someone please tell me..... There was no mention about any such charges in the email that I received about the new CF server and such.

Thanks

Cold fusion has always been charged for... Once you use more than the # of free CF modules in your account, its 10$ thereafter...

This page lists the # that come free with your account:
http://www.matrixreseller.com/plans/

You can also use the "Reseller Prices" & "Online Prices" links from your CP to determine how many are in use and what you are being charged.

This isn't new, its been this way since the beginning...

I'm not "you guys" but here are the site plan specs:
http://www.matrixreseller.com/plans/index.php

depending on your play you get a number free, the rest are charged...

*Cold Fusion MX 6.1 \ 1 Free \ 5 Free \ 10 Free \ 20 Free
*Each additional Cold Fusion domain is $10 per month.

Yeah this is for Coldfusion MX though, or has this been in place for regular CF as well? Because I only have 1 CFMX user right now, and this charges started appearing after the whole move to the new CFMX servers. Which doesnt make sense, because if I am correct the move is to fully propogate over to the new CFMX servers by May, correct?

I'll have to take this issue up with billing department.

Thanks for guiding me to the account features... maybe they should also remove "coldfusion" from the development features section, just to avoid further confusions.

Cheers.

CFMX/CF are the same thing... Coldfusion. We don't make a distinction between CFMX and CF5 when it comes to the module/billing part.

If there is a miscount becuase of the content move, that would be interesting and need to be looked at...

I've submitted a ticket to billing and will give them a call tomorrow morning to clear this mess out.

Also I looked at the reserller prices in the main cp account, and it is showing 12 active CF modules, however I checked each of the accounts that I have, and none of them have CF installed or activated. I have a separate CF account, which only has 1 domain on it.

So I talked with billing today, and got all my extra useless coldfusion modules turned off and removed coldfusion from all the plans except for the dedicated plan ofcourse.

I am still very unclear on some things, looks like it is time for me to do some RTFMing again.

Thanks for help those who made suggestions.
