Spam Assassin Header

Admin,

Is there anyway that you could remove the ", running on the system "mail2.hsphere.cc"," from the spam assassin message sent to our end users? The message is confusing some of our customers because it is more information than they need. They do not know what mail2.hspere.cc is nor do they need to know.

I clipped the message for reference:
--------
Spam detection software, running on the system "mail2.hsphere.cc", has
identified this incoming email as possible spam. The original message
has been attached to this so you can view it (if it isn't spam) or block
similar future email. If you have any questions, see
the administrator of that system for details.
--------

My suggestion:

"Spam detection software has identified this email as possible spam. The original message has been attached so you may view it. If you have any questions, please contact your service provider."

Short and to the point.

Keep up the great work!

Drew

We can't exactly turn off the hostname for the machine as its required for it to function... mail#.hsphere.cc has always been in the header. If you don't like what the report says... turn it off.

Has nothing to do with the header, whats generating the message that is delivered with a suspected spam email Matt? I like others here assumed that was something you knocked up and could just stop inserting the mailserver name into it? I guess thats not the case?

Nope, it grabs the hostname of the box... I don't plan on Rewriting SpamAssassin...
