is mysql 2 down?
i've got problems accessing http://buildingrepairs.org/nuke/ which is postnuke running on mysql 2 / unix3.
(i get "problem in database" page, but i haven't changed anything).

All services have been moved. CP and NS1 were done as well, no downtime was needed as the amount of files to copy was small. They were rebooted to ensure all the IPs got put in their appropriate places.

Hopefully this makes things smoother and will prevent one service from messing up another

though looking at that page im not sure if your website is actually even communicating with the server, looks like may be timing out.

No, its not communicating.
If i try to go into mysql2 from the cp with phpmyadmin i get:

Access denied for user: 'phpuser@216.157.145.200' (Using password: YES)

Is this something to do with the nameservers changes?

That ip above doesn't show in my dns manager.... closest is the cp address which is 216.157.145.2
Mysql2 is completely different. (216.157.132.215).

Try changing your connection string to match that IP address as per the CP and see what happens.

I too cannot access mysql2 from phpMyadmin. I get the following error:

Also, I cannot connect thru System DSN's set up on my local machine(MySQL ODBC 3.51 Driver). What gives?
