new account info not automatically sent to client

Hi,

I recently setup a reseller account and accurately received the notification emails for the service plans. However, when I signed up my first account that is not the service plan, no email was sent to the client with his login info. The only email sent as a transfer notification telling him what his new nameservers were. But, he needs to be able to FTP his files right? Any reason why this info wasn't not automatically forwarded? How can I change this?

Also, my username and password for the service domain login does not work. I click on the link that was forwarded in the automated email, type in my info and it says it does not exist. I logged in as admin and the service domain account lists this same username accurately!

Any idea what the problem is?

thanks in advance,

nick

Are you sure the account isn't still in a stauts of moderated ? the email isn't automatically sent until the account is fully created.

Are you using the correct URL when trying to loging to your service domain ? using the wrong URL will cause that error.

when I click on moderate, it says no new accounts to moderate, so everything is clear. I did receive an email about transfering my domain and the nameservers to apply, just no prelim FTP or login or FTP login email sent.

in regards to the second dilemma, yes, it's correct.

One note is that my service domain has not "propogated" fully just yet, would this cause other accounts to stall in sending FTP info? If so, why would my second account still receive a domain transfer email?

Shouldn't do, as you say the fact that you received one email seems to indicate that side of things is working ok.

don't know why it didn't work but you can send a welcome email

go into your reseller control panel
click search
set the search parameters so only the one new account comes up
click search
in the results when you only see the one account
click mass mail
you can then choose the welcome template and it will send a welcome email.

you might want to test this on one of your personal accounts first so you know what your client will get
