Server Status in PHP
Has anyone run into a good way to get the server staus page over to your own site via php? I'd like to selectively bring status.vortechhosting.com over to our own site. This has become more necessary as we have more clients distributed amongst different servers and more client sites running with a database powered site or backend. Appreciate your thoughts.

Admin, thanks for the praise.....the site is due for an upgrade, we've got 2 new designs laid out for the site, but haven't had time for a site-wide update. v2 of the site should really shine...
![]() Yes, RSS or xml would be nice...or at the very least, comments in the code, where we could use a tool to easily extract the html. If the code was clearly commented with the server name, etc, we could filter out the status page fairly easily. A while back, myself and our main php guy tested out some stuff to pull the data off some test cafepress stores....might be able to retool some of that for this purpose. - Daniel |

Yeah even comments would help greatly ... funny you mention cafepress, I wrote an ASP Script for people to scrape cafepress stores a while back too, works a treat
... it was actually based on a php one that someone posted on their forums.RSS or XML would be perfect though everyone then can easilyt customise the data to suit themselves. |

yup, we based our original attempt off that script as well....it was a good starting point for further customization... ended up scrapping the project after a while though...

I do believe that they were refering to getting the server status page (status.vortechhosting.com:8080) to their own website.
I have done it on my site however its in ASP. |

I think silverbug might have posted it originally somewhere in this thread. I know someone posted an ASP version at some stage somwhere anyway.
