Step by step: Nameservers

Hello,

When I register my nameservers at H-Sphere, there are two fields:

ns.mydomain.com -> ns.hsphere.cc (DNS Server) 00.00.00.00 (IP address)
ns1.mydomain.com -> ns.hsphere.cc (DNS Server) 00.00.00.00 (IP address)

These nameservers (ns.mydomain.com and ns1.mydomain.com) will be used to point all my customer's domains to my account, right? Can I edit them to something like: ns1.mydomain.com and ns2.mydomain.com? I've already submited them.. should I delete them to to this?

~ Thank you, Inside(r).

you can name them what you want, so long as they don't duplicate the prefixes of the other servers. If you mean you submitted them in HSphere, then yes, delete the entries, then rename and you're set.

Be sure to update your new nameservers with you registrar too, though.

You have a ticket open that I spent a good amount of time on. If i owuld have seen this post I could have just closed the ticket.
I would appreciate it if you would not put the EXACT same thing in a ticket and post here. One or the other, those are the rules.
