Always keep an extra credit card processing account ready to take orders as a backup, just in case (speaking from experience). I use: 2checkout.com

It's easy to open an account and the charges are reasonable, no need of any monthly activity and no monthly charges. Their new system is great and support is also good.

Kudos for applying this to all existing accounts. I've been with other hosting services in the past where any increases in a package were only applied to new accounts.

Holy cow! Dunno what to say, thanks Brad, this is brilliant! In this industry it's makes one happy just to find a host with decent infrastructure & support, but you guys are proactive on top of that and just keep improving your service.

As a point of note, the generosity behind this does stand out... you could have applied any number of profit-driven restrictions, which you have a right to do, but instead you passed on the benefits of your success and asked for nothing in return. Many of us will pass this on to happy clients and rave about you to colleagues, so I know you will reap the rewards and also be proud of your approach to business and customer service.

This is of course very welcome for resellers but we choose a reseller account here for the flexibility after trying several others and will never use 1/10 of the resources available to us. We came here for the service and tech support. I should not tell it but we would have paid 4 times as much, and come to think of it we did for about half the features with a to-be-nameless big ad budget hosting company. So my proposal is instead of giving us little guys with just a few low volume sites a big increase in anything, take the excess and give a bonus or raise to the tech crew who have been nothing less than great for us.

I was under the gun last winter when our low volume ecommerce site was down again and the other host was more obstruction than help and they could not get it back up after 2 weeks in an important part of the sales year for us. I suggested over the objections of the IT director to switch over to Vortech which resulted in another month of fighting him to get permissions to do anything. All his dire predictions proved to be groundless and everything has been great with several hundred thousands dollars in sales a month this spring, 5-6 times last years web sales rates. The IT director is now unemployed as he should have been from the start. I am a marketing and engineering guy and minority partner not a IT type or Web Master but built a dynamic site that works and generates a lot of sales. Next time I am back in the US I'll bring by a couple bottles for the finest Russian Vodka and Caviar. Thanks guys
