Piffle, you can race Nascar and all the rest on your computer, and it's more fun. The only real game is bare-knuckled AFL footy... not that girly pillow-thowing event that passes for football over there... *ducks*

But you can't have a good, civilized game of cricket on a PC. It just isn't cricket.

[edit] Apart from that, we're very good at it [/edit]

Kicked arse ? theres the overstatement of the century .. what he's not mentioning is that the game was lucky to be a draw (all to common in test cricket now a days) .. really apart from the one wicket of Ponting who pulled them out of what was going to be pretty much a certain loss, that even still, potentially given another over or two they most likely would have lost. There was a slim chance they could have won given another 10-20 more overs as well but when your number 11 is facing some of the best bowlers in the world, they don't normally last too long

Still .. good come back game, you needed that one.

Only Kiwi's and Australians will understand the friendly rivalry between our two countries ... it's give as good as you can take when it comes to sport

... Oh antic, heard there was a Rugby game on over the weekend too .. how'd Australia go in that one ?

is England getting stronger or Australia losing its grip over the game? been a long time since having heard any Australian be happy over a draw with the English.

maybe these jolts will wake up the giant that got bored with all the easy victories...

great series so far....luv to see some good competition.

Cricket? Why would you play with crickets? They are only good for fish bait. If you wanna play a sport, bring on the NFL! :wink2: Talk about getting an education here.....Only other time I have heard anyone talk about cricket was in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy....Oh yeah, the author was a Brit. Go figure.
