Vortech Inc. .::. New Servers NT39, NT40, NT41 and MSSQL9

There is a new Windows 2000 server now online; NT39.hsphere.cc, NT40.hsphere.cc, NT41.hsphere.cc and mssql9.hsphere.cc.

Remember to login to your reseller account and do the following:
Adding logical servers and server aliases:

1. Login into the admin control panel.
2. Click E.MANAGER
3. Click DNS Manager
4. Click edit button to the right of DNS zone
5. Click edit button to the right of your instant alias address
6. If there are logical servers that need to be added, scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Add records to all listed logical servers”
7. Click Server Aliases under E.MANAGER
8. If there are server aliases that need to be added, scroll to the bottom of the page click Submit.
9. Allow 4-12 hours for changes to take place.
10.The new server will be turned on within the next 24 to 48 hours.

I was successful on all but two. HSphere reports...

No Service IP available for host nt41.hsphere.cc
No Service IP available for host nt40.hsphere.cc

Hmm looks like we did not fully finish those. I will check them out now.

I also have to fix NT39. Seems the IP was added as 216.82.75.2 and not 216.81.75.2

All is good now, they should all work now.

Just tried and was successful except for nt41.

No Service IP available for host nt41.hsphere.cc

I just did it, went through just fine. One thing I have learnt nowadays is not to be the first one doing/buying something. Things get a lot better a little down the path....so it seems.
