Unix / Windows Technician Position in Orlando

I wanted to post this here because everyone here kind of knows H-Sphere or Cpanel some what. Maybe better then what we have seen on monster.com, computerjob.com and a few others.

Vortech, Inc. is currently offering one Full Time Technical position with our Web Hosting operation based in Orlando, Florida. Applicants' resume should include demonstrated proficiency & strong working knowledge of the following, but not limited to, CPanel, H-Sphere, Apache 1.3.x and 2.0, ProFTPd, MySQL, PHP, Sendmail, Exim, SSHd, Qmail, MSsql, Windows 2000 & 2003, Unix/Linux/FreeBSD, networks, IP, IIS, Cold Fusion, SMTP, and DNS/BIND. Certifications are not required.

The following requirements must be met by the technician:

(1) Control Panel Support - H-Sphere and CPanel
(2) Tech Support, Phone Support
(3) FreeBSD, RedHat
(4) Windows
(5) Must be able to determine when a server is in a "distressed" state, i.e. poor network performance, short of swap space, short of RAM, overloaded CPU, overloaded I/O subsystem. Understand how to gather more information and recommend a solution.
(6) Working knowledge of how to modify kernel and device driver behavior.
(7) Strong understanding of server & network security.
(8) Experience in automating system administration tasks through scripting/programming.

Salary will be based on experience and working knowledge. Available shifts are 2am - 2pm & 2pm - 2am, 4 days per week. Schedule will be determined by Vortech, Inc.
