cPanel2 is down, we're fsck'ing it now. Right now, we're not sure when it'll be back up but we're working to bring it up as soon as possible.

It is now down for over 2 hours!
What is going on? Fsck can not be the only reaseon it is down, or is it?

We're running fsck since it went down, once it's complete, we can investigate why it went down. It's taking a little longer than expected, but we're still working on it - it shouldn't be down too much longer.

Hi Bostjan,

We're sorry for the inconvenience. The file system seemed to have gotten corrupted, so fsck is taking a lot longer than originally expected. It's still running. We'll keep you updated on the status.

It's still running fsck.. it was pretty messed up. I'll be posting an update every hour, or when it's finished.

I just have to say that I am really disappointed.

I have been working on a web site for months with a client - trying to have it ready in time for their national conference in Los Vegas going on this week [today] – and now the server is down?! There could not be a worse time for this to happen. In two hours they are supposed to be unveiling the new site.

I share your disappointment. We have allready lost entire working day waiting for fsck (!?) to finish it's job and our clients are preety pi... off.

Update: We're still working on it. I wanted to assure those that are affected that this is our highest priority to get this back online.

Does it look like there is any hope for getting the server up before 1:00pm EST?

Unfortunately, the chances of that are looking pretty slim. Brad & Sharond are working deligently to bring it up. I wish I could give a better estimate of when it will be done.

The server's back in the rack at the Data Center. It should be back up soon, I still don't have a definite ET, but we'll keep you posted.
