Restore complete. The box has been rebooted and all services are coming up green to they're UP at least on the strictly technical level. We'll now poke around for rough edges and configuration snafus, and do general post-install housekeeping.

"Fact is that servers go down, things break, and there isn't much anyone can do to stop it. I have been all around this game and I can tell you that it doesn't get better than vortech." -Bob Henry

Bless you for telling it 'like it is' Bob, understanding the nature of servers, and complimenting us even in the wake of this incident.

I just wanted to take a moment to offer our sincere apologies for the longevity of the issue. As some of you may know, CPanel2 had been experiencing issues recently, and as a result we had planned to replace the hardware.......but got 'cut off' before it could be done. I realize that an apology does not make it any better, or make your clients feel any better, but I assure you that Vortech always has their client's best interests at heart.

If anyone is still experiencing any issues as a result this, please submit a TT and we will do our best to resolve them ASAP.

Thank you Bostjan. Being that I was one of the Staff on duty when this happened yesterday morning, it was an ordeal for me in terms of the impact to you (our clients), when I was unable to immediately resolve the problem. I certainly don't expect any concern for my sleeplessness over the issue, but just want to make it clear that any impact to our client's is an impact to Vortech as well. I personally never underestimate the value of our client's when it comes to making our business, and yours, successful.

control panel access?

Before I submit a support ticket, I'm wondering....The sites are up but I can't access the main account panel (WHM)for our hosted accounts. Will this be fixed or is this something else unrelated?

Thanks.

Let's go ahead and get tickets submitted on these so that Matt will have a good idea of how widespread the issue is.

still having problems?

Are we all still having problems? Can't log into my H-sphere control panel, some of my clients can, come can't. Email working of and on.

Just wondering if it is me, or if this is still a global problem.

Thanks.

Err... cpanel2 doesn't run Hsphere....

anyway... Resellers should now be able to log into your WHM. If your missing accounts, please submit a ticket. It seems that users that had dashes or some other characters in their usernames failed to restore.

This thread is in regards to a Cpanel server, not Hsphere (totally different control panels and machines). If you are having an issue I would recommend submitting a TT.

I logged in to my cpanel and the link to Fantastico is gone... and if I put /fantastico/ at the end of the URL it is not there either...

Could you please tell when will you install it?

thanks!
