pointing domain name to subdirectory **Resolved**
I have a site in my 'Service Plan' that is three different 'area' (web hosting, web development, and a 'splash screen' to access them by) I want to use a domain name to access the different areas, can I do this w/o them each getting an 'account'?

Its a win server. Not sure what you mean by subdomain or seperate domain, but right now they are www.com www.com/site2 & www.com/site3 (I assume that is what you mean by subdomain) and what I want is each to have its own .com name but would rather not change the virtual directory layout to seperate 'accounts'

sorry what i meant, was do you want something like http://www.domain.com points to www.domain.com and http://webhosting.domain.com points to www.domain.com/webhosting/ and http://webdev.domain.com points to www.domain.com/webdev/ etc
or is it www.domaina.com points to www.domain.com/domaina/ and www.domainb.com points to www.domain.com/domainb/ and www.domainc.com points to www.domain.com/domainc/ (phew lol) |

yeah, I think he means the second way.
It's actually the easiest just to do that at the registrar level, if they offer free forwarding. When you buy a domain, you can set up a forward - just send it to whatever URL you want - http://www.yourdomain.com/site1 - and so on. If you want to do it through the control panel, you can set up multiple domains in a single CP - you don't have to give each one a CP. Then, you can add as many domains as you need, and set up forwards in HSphere. Again, I'd just do it at the registrar level - GoDaddy offers it, and so do many others. |

All done (just have to wait for it to propigate). There are two steps involved (for people with the same question later):
1) use the domain parking nameservers (godaddy's) 2) fill in the address to forward to |
