Nt27

We have a few things to finish up and everything should be back to normal within an hour. Restoring some directories, Cf datasources and permissions.

The sites will pop up as we finish them,, anything with a dedicated IP will take just a bit longer. Thanks for your continued patience.

Nt27

NT26 seems to be up and running, and seems to have no problems currently on the system. If you do have a problem, let us know.

Ok, here is the scoop on NT27.

Psoft is currently working on some issues we've had with trying to get Hsphere back on it. We are currently working with them to resolve this, and we've already gotten further in the process than we had prior. As of right now, we do not have an ETA on when this is done. I can give you a tentative of 30 minutes to an hour, but this outage was not expected, and we have been working on this server now since 2 AM EST. It is now 11:30 AM EST. So try not to hold me to this, but things are definately looking good as of right now. If things continue to move as they are now, we should be done within an hour.

As far as Cold Fusion data sources go: it seems that they did not get restored as we would have hoped. I think at this point we may have to re-add them again, we are investigating this currently. If you have a question about the data source, the best thing to do would be to email us with the name, the type of datasource, and for what domain, and we will add it. This might be a better method alltogether, as we're not sure why the data sources aren't there in the first place. Cold Fusion does not appear to have any othe problems than that.

If you have any questions or problems with these servers, at this time it would probably be better to email support@matrixreseller.com rather than call. There are only two of us on the phones, and if we're both on the phone, it will go to voicemail. It would probably be faster for all of us if we emailed back and forth right now, as this problem is generating quite a bit of support calls/emails (as I'm sure you're all more than aware of from your perspectives).

I apologize for the outage, but this was not planned, and we are working feverishly to bring it back up.

I will try to monitor this thread, but I need to bang through some of the support messages coming in, so I may not be as quick to respond as I'd like to. Again, email us if you have problems with these servers, or if you need a data source added for Cold Fusion.

My .net app on NT26 won't load. It was working before, well at least it was able to load. Now I get an error message. I haven't been able to look at the code yet, but does anyone have any ideas how the switch has affected me? It uses sql server 2000 if that's worth anything.

I'm on a non-dedicated IP and the apache username/password dialog box keeps popping up when I go to the homepage. Hopefully its one of the permissions issues your still working on.

As of 3:38 PM EST, its still going through the script. Some of you are probably already back up. Its going in alphabetical order and is past the half-way mark.

It's half-way through the script.... so how soon do we expect it to be complete . That would help give some clients an estimate.

That would be a very broad guess, since some letters have more usernames than others. I expect R, S, T to be longer.

Angry What's the status of nt27?

What's the current status of nt27 box?. I can now see my html pages, but when I try to see .aspx files (ASP.net) i get an Server Error in '/' Application. My web.config is conigured to show detailed error messages (<customErrors mode="Off"/>) but my settings are being ignored. I sent this same question to support by email 50 minutes ago, but I haven't get any answer yet. Can somebody tell me what's going on? Is this issue only happening to me or it's a general problem?. Thanks
