is mail1 backed up? Or perhaps NT16?
A mail script I'm using on NT16 seems to be taking a long time to reach my mailbox. I'm wondering if mail1 is backed up. Or perhaps the queue on NT16 isn't getting picked up right away.
Thanks |

actually is there anyway we are able to tell how many emails are qued? i mean that would be quite useful and would stop us asking these sorts of questions.

Well for a short time I had a MRTG page up that did that, but we're moving to cricket for server status so its down curretnly...
But yes, mail1 had a backed up queue- although the TODO queue was NOT backed up, so messages were going through unhindered if they managed to send on the first try. Someone was getting spambombed, so I put the domain in the badmail from and the queue has gone from 18000 to 9000 in about 30 minutes. |

Cricket's quite cool I was just playing with that on the weekend trying to get my smoothwall firewall to use it so I could see some extra stuff like DHCP leases etc.
