Switching Service Accounts

Originally, when I set up this accounts (months ago), I used a 'test domain' for the service account. This domain name was called experiencenathaniel.com. All the domain since have used this service account for the name servers.

Now, however, I have to switch the name of the nameservers to easyupdating.com. I've created another service account named easyupdating.com and have since made all new domains use those nameservers.

However, can I simply delete the service account experiencenathaniel.com? What will happen to the domains that use this as name servers? Will I have to delete those domains, and then readd them under easyupdating.com?

Your service domain doesn't actually determine the "name" of the nameservers to use, this is controlled by the domain you entered when setting up the DNS "Zones" initially.

Your nameservers for easyupdating.com actually look a little out of whack take a look here http://www.dnsreport.com/tools/dnsre...syupdating.com

You have NT23 setup as one of your nameservers for that domain which is definately not going to work too well.

Hmmmm....so how would I fix that?

Can I simply delete the experiencenathaniel.com DNS zone?

You will have to tell every domain that you host to update its DNS entries.

I did the same change a while ago and was able to replace every server alias with the new ones except for the cp...

Could someone confirm that I can safely remove the old cp link and recreate a new one?

You edit each and every domain name and change their DNS. A real pain
