New Server Now Online: NT50

There is a new server now online: nt50.hsphere.cc

Remember to login to your reseller account and do the following:

1. Login into the admin control panel.
2. Click E.MANAGER
3. Click DNS Manager
4. Click edit button to the right of DNS zone
5. Click edit button to the right of your instant alias address
6. If there are logical servers that need to be added, scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Add records to all listed logical servers”
7. Click Server Aliases under E.MANAGER
8. If there are server aliases that need to be added, scroll to the bottom of the page click Submit.
9. Allow 4-12 hours for changes to take place.

Please appreciate my naiveness, being new to Vortech and all.
Is this something everyone should do, or just resellers?
Is it mandatory, and what would happen if we don't and by when? What happens if we do?

Only resellers would need to submit aliases. I can't say its mandatory, but there are consequences for those resellers that do not update the aliases. Those that do not submit the new aliases will have resolution issues for users placed on the new server. They will also lose their branding as the new server will not be aliased to their service domain.

Resellers should update their aliases as soon as it is convenient and definitely before they add a new account.

You might as well, but they are dedicated servers you would not have access to, so it won't affect you either way.
