ms outlook email problem.

Hey guys. Happy Holidays!

This doesn't have anything to do with my reselling account but I was hoping someone here might be able to help me out with a problem that I'm having with my ms outlook.

I had ms outlook as my default email but the program has crashed & I don't have the cd anymore to reinstall it so now I've switched to outlook express for the time being.

The problem however, is that I have a very important email that I need to access which was sent to me by one of my clients but it's stored in outlook and I don't know how I can retrieve it now.

Is there any way I can view my old messages that were stored in my ms outlook?

I think it will depend on whether or not your Outlook.pst file is corrupted. Outlook stores everything into that one personal folders file. You can try importing it into Outlook Express I believe.

I'm not sure which versions of Outlook, Outlook Express & Windows you're using, but if you do a file search for *.pst files & have it look in hidden folders since it will be located in hidden folders under Documents & Settings. Once you find the location, you can use OE's "Import Messages" try & bring it in.
